Merge EDU supports five different single sign-on (SSO) tools - Microsoft, Google, Classlink, Clever, and Apple. If your school connects your students’ emails to any one of these programs, you and your students can easily create and sign into a Merge EDU account using existing accounts with just a click of a button!

Just follow these steps to learn how:

Microsoft SSO

If your student emails are connected with Outlook, or your class uses Microsoft 360 or Active Directory, you can create your Merge EDU Account and sign into the Merge apps using Microsoft:

  1. Go to https://dashboard.mergeedu.com/signup
  2. If you have a Subscription or Class Join Code, enter it in the space provided - if you are starting a Free Trial, simply tap “Continue”, then select the user type that best describes you.
  3. Now it’s time to create your Merge account using Microsoft. Tap the Microsoft icon.
  4. If your Microsoft account is listed, select it and then enter your password to sign in. If not, tap “Use another account”, then enter your Microsoft email and password to sign in.

  3. Now it’s time to create your Merge account using Google. Tap the Google icon.
  4. If your Google account is listed, select it and then enter your password to sign in. If not, tap “Use another account”, then enter your Google email or Google Classroom account and password to sign in.

  2. If you have a Subscription or Class Join Code, enter it in the space provided - if you are starting a Free Trial, simply tap “Continue”, then select the user type that best describes you.
  3. Now it’s time to create your Merge account using Classlink. Tap the Classlink icon.
  4. If you have already signed into Classlink on this device it should show your login page. If not, tap “Login Here”, then enter your Classlink username and password to sign in.

Clever SSO

If your school uses Clever, you can create or sign-in to the Merge EDU Dashboard and apps using your Clever credentials after requesting permission via your Clever Administrator. Make sure you look for “Merge EDU Platform” in the Clever library and tap “Try it out” to request permission to use the Clever SSO with Merge EDU.

    1. If you have a Clever badge, tap “Clever Badge login” to scan your Clever badge. To do this, you must be using a device with a camera or webcam.
    2. If you don’t have a Clever badge, enter your school name into the search bar and select your school.

Now that you’ve created your account using your single sign on tool, you can sign in to the Merge EDU Dashboard and Merge EDU apps using the same credentials. If you didn’t create your account using your SSO, don’t worry! As long as the account you created used an email connected with that single sign on, you can always go back and sign in using that SSO to connect them.
