The Object Editor on the Merge Creator allows you to edit your object details, define the look of your 3D creations by modifying the position, rotation and scale of your object in Cube Mode, in World Mode as well as editing the thumbnail.

In this article, we’ll introduce you to the main sections of the 3D Object Editor:

• Details - Edit the Title and Description of your object, re-upload, add to a collection, of find share options
• Cube and World Settings - determine size, rotation, position and scale of your object in Cube Mode or World Mode
• Thumbnail - Adjust the thumbnail for your object
  

Follow these instructions to find out how to use the 3D Object Editor:

To edit your object details using the Merge Creator app:

1. Open Merge Creator
2. Tap to select the object you wish to edit
3. Tap "Edit" then tap "Details"
4. Enter a new Title and Description, then select "Save"
5. You can also re-upload your object if you have a newer version, add it to a custom object collection, or share. 

Editing the Cube and World settings will change the way your object appears on the Merge Cube or when placed in the World.

To edit the Cube and World settings for your Object using the Merge Creator app:

1. Open Merge Creator
2. Tap to select the object you wish to edit
3. Tap "Edit" then tap "Cube" or "World"
4. Here, you can choose to edit the size, rotation, and position of your object in "Cube" or "World" mode. Make your adjustments and press "Save". Select "Reset" if you'd like to start over. 

To edit the thumbnail for your Object using the Merge Creator app:

1. Open Merge Creator
2. Tap to select the object you wish to edit
3. Tap "Edit" then tap "Thumbnail"
4. Using a pinching motion, sliding one finger across the screen both directions, or even using two fingers to swipe up and down, adjust your thumbnail of your 3D model to fit inside the solid rectangle box to your liking. Once you are happy with the position, select "Capture" then "Save." Wait a moment while your new thumbnail is saved

View your Objects on the Merge Cube

Finally, you can use the Merge Object Viewer app to view your 3D Object in the palm of your hand with the Merge Cube, or share your object with your class. Use the Share Options, like the QR Code, Link, or Object Code to share your 3D creations with others!
