  • Invite user to join account: Sends the user an invitation to join the account.

  2. Select Users.
  3. Find the user you want to remove.

Important: Deleting a user removes the user from the account. If the user only needs to be removed from a particular school, update the user’s school assignment instead.

Depending on your subscription, users may exist at the account level without being assigned to a school. You can assign these users to one or multiple schools as needed.

  1. Select Schools from the main dashboard.
  2. Select the appropriate school.
  3. Select Users to open Manage Users.
  4. Under Add Users, search for the user using the Search for an existing user to add to your school field.
  5. Select the correct user.
  6. Click Add.

You can repeat these steps to assign the same user to additional schools.

Update a User’s Permissions

Administrators can update a user’s permission level as responsibilities change. Locate the user under District → Users or within the assigned school’s Users page, click the three dots located on the right hand side of the user name, select Edit Role and select the appropriate permission level.

Available permission levels and management options depend on your subscription and your own administrative permissions.

Assign a User to Multiple Schools

If a user works across multiple schools.

  1. Select a school the user should have access to.
  2. Search for the user.
  3. Select Add User.
  4. Repeat this process for each school.

The user will now be able to access each assigned school from the Merge 3D Dashboard.

Remove a User from a School

  1. Navigate to Users.
  2. Find the user you want to remove.
  3. Click the three dots located on the right hand side of the user name and select Remove User.

Best Practices

  • Assign users only to the schools they need to access.
  • Review user permissions whenever a staff member changes roles.
  • District Administrators can assign or roster users to one or more schools as needed.
  • Verify the user's role after transferring to ensure they have the correct level of access.
