How to Add, Delete or Transfer Users

How to Add, Delete or Transfer Users

Users can easily be transferred between schools within your district while keeping the appropriate permissions and access. This is helpful when staff members change schools, take on new roles, or require access to additional locations.

Transfer a User to Another School

  1. Sign in to https://dashboard.merge3d.ai/.
  2. Select District or Schools dashboard menu.
  3. Locate the school you would like to transfer/add/ or delete from.
  4. Select Users.
  5. Here you can search existing users to send an invite to your school. Or you can create a user.
  6. Update the user's assigned School or Schools.
  7. Verify the user's Role and Permissions are correct for their new assignment.
  8. Select Save Changes.

The user's access is updated immediately.

Assign a User to Multiple Schools

If a user works across multiple schools:

  1. Open the user's profile.
  2. Select all schools the user should have access to.
  3. Verify the appropriate permission level.
  4. Save your changes.

The user will now be able to access each assigned school from the Merge 3D Dashboard.

Remove a User from a School

To remove access to a school:

  1. Open the user's profile.
  2. Remove the school from the user's assigned schools.
  3. Save your changes.

The user will no longer have access to that school.

Best Practices

  • Assign users only to the schools they need to access.
  • Review user permissions whenever a staff member changes roles.
  • District Administrators can assign users to one or more schools as needed.
  • Verify the user's role after transferring to ensure they have the correct level of access.
