Unlocking a Merge Educator Free Trial  

We’re so excited you’ve decided to unlock a Merge Educator Free Trial! 

Your free trial provides access to both the Merge EDU and Merge Creator suites, along with activity plans, STEM projects, standards alignments, and more.

The Educator Free Trial does not allow you to add student accounts. If you would like a School Free Trial to add student accounts, email learnmore@merge3d.ai so we can help.

Note: If you are not an educator, be sure to unlock an individual free trial instead. You will need to have a valid education email address to unlock the educator trial.

So how do you get started? In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to be successful with your Merge Educator Free Trial. Just follow the steps below:

• Start your Free Trial
• Access the Dashboard and Explore
• Get a Merge Cube
• Manage your Subscription

Step 1. Start your Educator Free Trial

Note - this is a 14-day free trial. A credit card is NOT required.

Follow these steps to get started with a free trial:

1. Visit TryMerge.com. 
2. Enter your school or educational organization email address, or use your preferred SSO tool. Note: Using a school or organization email address is required for the Educator trial.
3. Select Educator to answer the question of How will you be using it?
4. Enter your School Name and District Name.
5. Type in your title, select your role from the drop down menu, and select any use cases that apply to you.
6. Type in your First Name, Last Name and create a Password, then select Create Educator Account.
7. If your email address requires verification, you can select "Request manual verification." You will receive an email from our support team within 24 hours. If you feel you have received this message in error, email support@merg3d.ai.
8. The last step is to verify your account! Check your email to verify - be sure to check your junk/spam boxes if you don't see it in your inbox. It will be from "Merge 3D" with subject line "Verify your email and sign in." Be sure to tap the link to verify your account and sign in.

Step 2. Access the Dashboard and Explore

Read this help article for Getting Started with Merge 3D. Here you will get an overview of the 2 different product suites, learn about the embodied interaction modes, and get more information for using Merge 3D successfully during your trial.

Step 3. Get a Merge Cube

If you don’t already have a Merge Cube, you’ll need to get one to experience holding digital 3D objects. You can either order a Merge Cube on Amazon or print a Merge Paper Cube for free.

Step 4. Manage your Subscription

Visit https://dashboard.merge3d.ai/account/licenses to manage your subscription. Here you can see your subscription details, and upgrade if you would like to purchase a subscription.
