Unlocking a Merge Individual Free Trial 

We’re so excited you’ve decided to unlock an individual free trial of Merge EDU! Your individual free trial of Merge provides access to over 1,000 hands-on digital objects, over 100 interactive science simulations, and the Merge EDU Dashboard where you’ll find helpful resources and account management features.

Note: Individual Free Trials do NOT provide access to Activity Plans or STEM Projects. If you are an educator, be sure to get the Educator Free Trial instead.

So how do you get started? In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to be successful with your Merge Individual Free Trial. Just follow the steps below:

• Start your Free Trial
• Activate your Merge EDU account
• Download the Merge EDU apps
• Sign-in to Unlock Content
• Get a Merge Cube
• Manage your Subscription

Step 1. Start your Individual Free Trial

Note - this is a 14-day free trial. A credit card is required, but will NOT be charged if you cancel before your trial period is over. You can visit mergeedu.com/subscription anytime to manage your account.

1. Visit MergeEDU.com and tap Try Merge EDU
2. Then select Continue as an Individual
3. Enter your email address, or use your preferred SSO tool
4. Provide your First Name, Last Name, then select the Role that best describes you
5. If you entered an email address instead of using an SSO tool, please Create your Password. It needs to be at least 8 characters.
6. Almost done! Please tell us how you plan to use Merge EDU.
7. Select “Continue to Payment”.

8. Provide your credit card information, then select “Start Individual Trial”. 

   Note: Your card will not be charged if you cancel before your 14 day trial period ends.

9. After your payment is processed, you will be redirected to the Merge Dashboard where you can upload 3D objects, find helpful resources, and manage your account.

Step 2. Activate your Merge EDU Account

Once you have unlocked the Individual Free Trial, you will receive an automatic email from Merge EDU Support (support@mergeedu.com) entitled “Activate your Merge Account”. This email will include a link to verify your account.

Be sure to tap the link in the email to verify your account.

Note: If you don’t see this email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder. You can also contact the Merge Support Team at support@mergeedu.com for assistance.

Step 3. Download Merge EDU Apps

Be sure to download the Merge EDU apps, found here: https://support.mergeedu.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052929752-Downloading-Merge-EDU-Apps

Step 4. Sign-in to Unlock Content

To unlock all the content in the Merge EDU Apps and Dashboard, you will need to sign in with the Merge account you created earlier by entering your email and password. 

You can also sign in with SSO (single sign on) if the email you used to create your Merge account is also connected to one of the SSO we support: Microsoft, Google, Classlink, Clever, or Apple. 

1. Sign in to Merge EDU apps to unlock the content in these apps.
2. Sign in to the Merge Dashboard to manage your subscription, upload objects, and find other helpful resources.

Step 5. Get a Merge Cube

If you don’t already have a Merge Cube, you’ll need to get one to experience holding and interacting with digital 3D objects. 

You can order a Merge Cube on Amazon or print a Merge Paper Cube for free.

Step 6. Manage your Subscription

Visit https://mergeedu.com/subscription to manage your subscription.

Here you can see your subscription details, updated payment method, view your payment history, see the next billing date, update, or even cancel your subscription at any time. 

To update your subscription, select Update Subscription. 

To cancel your subscription, select Cancel Subscription.

Now you’re ready to explore! During your free trial, be sure to Hold a digital object in your hand, Place a digital object in the real world, Interact with Science Simulations, and Explore Digital Teaching Aids.
