Merge 3D Dashboard Overview 

The Merge 3D Dashboard is where learning, exploration and creativity with Merge happens! You’ll access all Merge EDU and Merge Creator web apps, find helpful resources like STEM projects and activity plans, explore community and district content, manage school and account settings and more. It's easy and intuitive to navigate. 

In this article, we’ll give a brief summary of all the things you can do on the Merge 3D Dashboard.

The Main Home Screen - Above the Fold

There’s so much you can do on the dashboard! Let’s go through the first section using numbered arrows:

1. This arrow points to all the web apps. If you have a Merge EDU subscription, you will get access to: Explorer, HoloGlobe, and Object Viewer web apps. If you have a Merge Creator subscription, you will have access to: Object Viewer, AI Generator, Builder, Uploader and 3D scanner. If you have a full platform license, you will have access to all.
2. Library - your library contains all your saved content from Merge EDU apps, custom object collections, as well as any objects you have uploaded or created with Merge Creator. Learn more here.
3. Your User Profile - Here you can update your password, profile and preferences. 
4. If you have District Admin access, you will see this setting. Here you can easily manage schools, users, content, and district account settings. 
5. The Content Management option allows you to manage the content you would like to make available to your students, including Merge EDU content, community content, and district content.
6. Account Settings - here is your quick link to manage the account settings at the highest level you have access to. This will change depending on if you are a district admin, a school admin, or a teacher.
7. Master Search Bar - you can use this master search bar to search for anything! Object Viewer content, Explorer simulations, your own objects, activity plans and more. 
8. Your Profile - in the upper right corner of the home screen, you’ll find your profile settings. You will see different settings based on your account access. You can change the language, enable Dark Mode, enable low power mode and more.

Launch an App

If you keep scrolling on the home screen, you will see quick links to launch the apps. You can also launch them from the left side menu.

Curriculum

This section links you browse and links to activity plans, STEM Projects curriculum standards and more. Select the purple View All Curriculum button to see all the activity plans on one page.

Recently Viewed

The recently viewed section allows you to see anything you’ve recently created, uploaded, and interacted with.

The next three sections feature interesting content from Explorer, HoloGlobe and Merge EDU content from Object Viewer.
