AI Credits in Merge Creator
AI Credits power AI features across Merge 3D—including generating 3D objects with AI Generator, AI Coding with Builder (coming soon), auto-translating user content (object titles, descriptions, labels), and creating profile banners.
All users on an account draw from a single shared AI Credit balance.
Default AI Credits by License Type
The default credit allocation depends on your license tier. Note: Lab Licenses do not include AI Credits.

Feature Credit Usage
AI actions consume credits based on task complexity:

*Note: Typical 3D object creation uses 55–75 credits. Chat, translation, and image tools use fewer credits, stretching your balance further. Longer chats and larger translations consume additional credits.
When Credits Are Added & Rollover Policy
Credits are added to your balance when:
- A license tier including AI Credits is activated.
- A license tier including AI Credits is renewed.
- An account administrator purchases an AI Credits pack from the Store.
Rollover Note: Credits are never taken away upon renewal. If your balance exceeds your default tier allowance (e.g., from purchasing a pack), your default license tier credits are added directly on top of your existing balance.
How to View and Purchase AI Credits
To View Your Balance:
- Sign in to Dashboard.Merge3d.AI
- Select Account from the upper-right profile menu.
- View your current balance under AI Credits.
To Purchase Additional Credits:
- Select Account from the upper-right profile menu and tap Buy AI Credits.
- Select a pack size and click Add to cart.
- Complete checkout.
Credits are added immediately after payment completes. Accounts without self-service purchasing should contact their Merge sales representative or email sales@merge3d.ai.
Credit Packs Pricing ($0.01 / Credit)
- 1,000 AI Credits ($10): Yields ~13–18 3D objects.
- 10,000 AI Credits ($100): Yields ~130–180 3D objects.
- 100,000 AI Credits ($1,000): Yields ~1,300–1,800 3D objects.
What Happens When You Run Out of Credits
If an AI action is attempted without sufficient credits:
- Admins with Store access: Prompted to buy more credits.
- Admins on managed billing: Directed to contact sales.
- Standard users: Prompted to contact their account administrator.
