Progress Tracking with Quiz Results

The integrated quizzes in the Merge Explorer app allow you to track your students progress through the app as they complete science simulations in the topic cards. 

Follow these steps to learn how to track student progress in Merge Explorer using Quiz Results:

Step 1: Go to “Merge Explorer” & Open the Assigned Topic Card

On the Merge Dashboard, click Merge Explorer under Science in the left-side navigation menu, then tap on the thumbnail for the topic card that corresponds to the quiz the students were assigned.

Step 2: Tap the “Quiz Results” button

Tap the “Quiz Results” button.

Step 3: Select your class to view results

Use the drop-down in the upper-right corner of the Quiz Results page to select your class. 

You will see a list of your students, as well as icons indicating which quiz they’ve completed. Green indicates they completed the K-2 quiz, red indicates they completed the 3-5 quiz, and blue indicates they completed the 6-8 quiz.

Now that you know how you can use the integrated quizzes in Merge Explorer to keep track of your students’ progress, we recommend assigning the quizzes to your class the next time you assign a topic card. The quizzes help students monitor their own understanding and help reinforce concepts, making it the perfect way to bring the topic card’s lesson to a close.
