Using your Merge Anaglyph Paper 3D Glasses

With Merge 3D, students are not passive participants - they’re engaged in active, embodied learning.

In this article, we’ll share more information about the anaglyph 3D mode using your Merge 3D glasses!

Note: You can use Anaglyph 3D mode in combination with regular 3D mode, hand tracking and head tracking modes!

Step 1. Sign in to the Merge 3D Dashboard

Visit dashboard.merge3D.ai and sign in.

Step 2. Select any 3D Model or Simulation

Select any 3D object or simulation from Merge EDU content, or your own 3D model from Merge Creator. For this example, I selected a 3D model from Object Viewer. I just tapped “Object Viewer” from the dashboard home screen, then selected a simulation.

Step 3. Activate Anaglyph 3D mode + Interact!

  1. When you have selected content, tap the “3D” button with the glasses icon in the upper right hand corner, then put on your 3D glasses.
  2. Tap the “settings” gear icon to increase the color separation for a more pronounced 3D effect.
  3. Enable Head Tracking mode by tapping the “Head” icon to make the experience even more interactive.

Step 4. Deactivate it When You’re Done

When you’re done exploring your 3D models and simulations with your Merge Paper 3D Glasses, simply tap the “3D” button again to deactivate it. If you used head or hand tracking mode, be sure to turn those off too by simply tapping them.

Now that you have learned how to use your anaglyph 3D glasses, learn how to use hand tracking mode next!
