Finding Lab Codes
Lab Codes provide students with quick access to your Merge 3D Lab without requiring individual accounts. As a district administrator, school administrator, or teacher, you can view active lab sessions, copy the Lab Code or Lab Link, display a QR Code for students to join, and sign users out of the lab when needed.
Locate Your Lab Code - View 1
- Sign in to https://dashboard.merge3d.ai/.
- From the main Merge 3D Dashboard, select Labs from the left side menu.
- Select a school you would like to manage.
- Select Lab, Manage.
- View available lab code information.
Locate Your Lab Code - View 2
- Sign in to https://dashboard.merge3d.ai/.

From the main Merge 3D Dashboard, select Labs from the menu on the right side.
Depending on your role:
- District Owner/Administrators will see all schools with active Merge 3D subscriptions and their available labs.
- School Administrators and Teachers will see only the schools they are associated with.
3. Select a school to view its available lab code information.
Lab Management
Once you open a lab, you'll have access to the following features:
- Lab Code – Copy and share the Lab Code for students to join the lab.
- QR Code – Display/enlarge or print the QR Code so students can scan it with their device.
- Copy Share Link – Copy a direct link that students can use to join the lab.
- Active Sessions – View how many devices are currently using the lab (for example, 0/30 active devices).
- Terminate All Sessions – Sign out all users from the lab when needed, making seats available for another class.
- Enter Lab – Sign out of your administrator account and enter the lab to experience the platform exactly as your students do.
This view provides everything you need to manage your lab from one convenient location, making it easy to share access with students and monitor simultaneous device usage.
Now that you know how to locate your Lab Codes, you're ready to invite students into your Merge 3D Lab.
Students can join by:
- Visiting https://dashboard.merge3d.ai/
- Selecting Have a Lab Code
- Entering the Lab Code provided by their teacher
- Or scanning the QR Code from the Lab Management page
- For even quicker access, you can also share the Lab Link, allowing students to join with a single click.
